Illustration Friday... Ferocious

Sorry I missed last week, but I was away from my art supplies all week. This week is just a quick digital drawing of a funny ferocious pomeranian. I did this with an app on the HBO website for true blood.

And his ferocious owners...

Illustration Friday... Boundaries

The boundaries which divide life from death are at best shadowy and vague. Who shall say where the one ends and where the other begins?
-Edgar Allan Poe

When I saw this weeks topic, my favorite Edgar Allan Poe quote popped in my mind and lucky for me i had just finished a digital painting of Lucy Westenra (Sadie Frost in Coppola's Brahm Stoker's Dracula, one of my favorite movies of all time) with my new love in my life my tablet.
It took a little getting used to but it is technically like painting or drawing on paper, but you have to look at the screen instead.

Digital Painting/Drawing done with my Wacom tablet and Adobe Illustrator.

New Profile Picture

Thought I had better update my profile picture  since the red and 10 inches of hair is gone and I have a new fab haircut.  Also for those of you who know me I love me some giant embellished shoulders on a garment.

A little Bloggy Make-Over

I finally had time to makeover my blog title. I know I always wanted to do something to show my Brit heritage as well as my love for late 70's early 80's punk rock. It was a natural progression to of course modify the iconic Sex Pistols image. Hope you like it!

Illustration Friday...Mysterious

Is it a mystery why I sketched this mysterious owl?
Done with a black, green and grey Sharpie markers.

My other artistic endeavor...

So I have another project on the go as well, if you have scrolled down the side of my page and looked at my blog roll you may have noticed my other makeup site. Thats right I am also a makeup artist... same deal just a different canvas. So among my illustration work I also have created my own cosmetic line. Check out my other page if you get a chance.
